Celebrating the Best Designers You've Never Heard Of... We've been working hard behind the scenes here at Skein Shop to launch a new program for independent designers. We wanted to give a larger audience to talented people who don't have much of a following (yet!). We support these Designers by sending them free yarn and helping to edit their pattern. Soon you'll start seeing Independent Designer patterns showing up on the site and interviews with these Designers on the Community Blog. When you click on the picture of an Independent Designer's pattern, it will take you to the Ravelry page for that pattern. There you may purchase the design directly from the Designer - Skein Shop does not keep a cut....

This yarn conveniently cost the same as our standard shipping and at the same time bumped their order into our '100g of goodness' (free) tier. More yarn at no additional cost, what's...
Bringing U.S. Made Yarn to Skein Shop!
Kraemer yarns are spun in Nazareth Pennsylvania. We are currently carrying their Naturally Nazareth, Perfection, and Tatamy lines. Please note that Perfection and Tatamy come in many weights and styles; the links are to the worsted weight version of those yarns. These high-quality yarns are not only beautiful and affordable, but they use U.S. Merino wool, thus supporting American farmers across the country. We are so pleased to be bringing you these fine products and to be supporting American manufacturing.
