We strive to be fair to our customers and our employees.
Being fair to customers means consistently offering outstanding service and treating each order with as much care as the next. We ship promptly, and almost everything ships free. Will we always have the lowest prices out there? Possibly not, but we keep our prices consistent so you don't have to waste time watching your inbox and playing guessing games about what might go on sale and when.
We treat our employees fairly by paying them well, offering rewards for extraordinary work, and respecting them as people. We believe that minimum wage is not enough in our part of the country, so we pay a living wage. We have clear goals and expectations for our staff as well as bonuses for those who exceed those marks. We work with each employee individually to make sure that their schedule and responsibilities are reasonable for them.
We strive to get your order to you as fast as possible.
Orders received by 2PM Eastern Time are picked and shipped that same day.* We know you're eager to get started on your project, so it is our top priority to get your package out the door just as fast as possible. If for any reason we are unable to get your order shipped on time, we will contact you directly and make it right. We place regular orders with all of our vendors, so if you have contacted us with a special request, we will be sure to fill it in a timely manner.
* Sometimes we may be able to ship orders placed after 2PM same day. Same day shipping of course depends on the US Postal Service being open. Other possible shipping delays will be noted conspicuously on the home page.

We want you to love shopping with us. We know that there are real people at the end of every email, forum post, and comment, but the internet is by nature an impersonal place. That's why we try to put a personal touch into everything we do, whether that's a hand-written note in your package, a special photo so you can see two colors of yarn right next to each other, or a blog post featuring pictures of customer projects.
