Named for an outlandish bird from Australia, this yarn bears virtually no resemblance to that gargantuan avian terror. Rather, it is a lovely fiber that forms soft stripes of color as you work with it. The fingering weight and wool/nylon blend make it ideally suited to socks and accessories.
70% Superwash Wool, 30% Nylon with approximately 380 yards per 100g that knits to 7.5 stitches per inch on a US 2 (2.75mm) needle.
Machine was cool, gentle cycle, lay flat to dry, do not bleach.
