This beautiful hat pattern blends two yarns in a deceptively simple cable pattern. Only one yarn is used per round, so there are no floats to worry about.
The entire pattern is available both as written instructions and as a chart. I have also included some suggested mods to create a slouchy version.
From one 50g ball of the color changing yarn (I used Noro Kureyon) and one 100g ball of the solid (I used Rowan Creative Focus Worsted), you should easily get two hats - three if you are either lucky or willing to be a little creative for the last couple of rounds (I tend to run out of the solid).
Gauge: 19 stitches x 28 rows = 4" x 4" over stockinette, recommended needle size US 8/5mm
