Join the Fun! Brisbane from the Queensland Collection is soft, superwash, and versatile. This great yarn comes in drifting multis and perfectly matched solids. We got a request to carry this yarn because there is a Knit-Along (KAL) going on right now, and not many online stores are carrying it. We love hearing from customers, and we'll always consider your input on what our store is missing. Please let us know how we may serve you best! The Piper Shrug is a genius design that combines simple lace with soothing stockinette. The sample is shown with the lace in a solid and the stockinette in a multi, but you could do all one solid, all one multi, two solids, or...
Same Yarn, Lower Price!
Fans of Trekking rejoice! This staple sock yarn is now more affordable than ever. Our Trekking 6-Ply (where we have both the stripes and the tweeds) costs only $26 for a 150g ball, down from $32.50. One ball is enough to make a Baby Surprise Jacket; check out these beautiful examples on Ravelry!
Bringing U.S. Made Yarn to Skein Shop!
Kraemer yarns are spun in Nazareth Pennsylvania. We are currently carrying their Naturally Nazareth, Perfection, and Tatamy lines. Please note that Perfection and Tatamy come in many weights and styles; the links are to the worsted weight version of those yarns. These high-quality yarns are not only beautiful and affordable, but they use U.S. Merino wool, thus supporting American farmers across the country. We are so pleased to be bringing you these fine products and to be supporting American manufacturing.
We've added Huasco Chunky and Worsted to our line up! Huasco DK has been on our shelves for some time, but we decided that we just loved the heavier weights too much not to have them, too! It is so hard to show in a picture how luscious these hand-dyed yarns are. The tonal colors are rich and deep, and the wool is bouncy, bouncy, bouncy! Our very own Dashiemouse has designed a beautiful hat pattern for the worsted weight yarn - Left Stranded. It's meant to be a gentle introduction to stranded colorwork in knitting. Remember that if you're feeling doubtful about your color choices, you can always ask us to take a picture of a few yarns together...
