New Yarn - More Huasco!

We've added Huasco Chunky and Worsted to our line up!  Huasco DK has been on our shelves for some time, but we decided that we just loved the heavier weights too much not to have them, too! It is so hard to show in a picture how luscious these hand-dyed yarns are.  The tonal colors are rich and deep, and the wool is bouncy, bouncy, bouncy! Our very own Dashiemouse has designed a beautiful hat pattern for the worsted weight yarn - Left Stranded.  It's meant to be a gentle introduction to stranded colorwork in knitting.  Remember that if you're feeling doubtful about your color choices, you can always ask us to take a picture of a few yarns together...

New Product - Yarn Bowls

Skein Shop is thrilled to announce a partnership with Cincinnati ceramicist, Carly Leon!   Carly creates amazing, hand-crafted pieces that are both highly functional and extremely beautiful.  She has agreed to make some yarn bowls for us to share with you, and we could not be more pleased. Her bowls are each a unique work of art from the shape of the bowl itself to the decorative glazing.  If you have been looking for the ultimate accent to your crafting area, one of these bowls is the perfect thing.  We love using ours around the shop, and we hope you will, too.
