It has been our pleasure to offer you fair, fast, and friendly service for ten years now! During the overwhelming majority of that time, we have been able to offer free shipping on all US orders. When we first started offering free shipping, the cost to mail a 100g skein of yarn anywhere in the US was just over $2.50. Now that same shipping label has more than doubled in price, but (fortunately) the cost of the yarn has not. However, that means that in many cases, we've ended up actually losing money on orders due to the shipping label costs. For the past two years, we've tried to see it as a balance - offering free shipping knowing we're going to lose money on some sales, but hoping that other sales will help balance it out so that we could continue providing the same accessible prices you've come to enjoy.
At this point, that is no longer an option, so starting 1 March 2025, we will be adopting the following shipping rates.

We thank you for your many years of support and your understanding as we implement this new policy. This was not an easy decision for us, but we hope we've found a solution that is fair to you while allowing us to continue sending you your favorite yarns.
