Ann and Kay Know Their Stuff
Mason-Dixon Knitting has a been a staple of the knit-blogging world for over a decade. These smart, witty ladies have shared their love of log cabin blankets, all things Rowan, and ballband dishcloths with each other and with their lucky readers. Mason-Dixon takes a refreshing, "real-life" approach to knitting where not every photo is perfectly staged, not every project is the most difficult, spectacular thing ever created, and plenty of mistakes are made.
Kay Gardiner (who lives in New York) and Ann Shayne (who lives in Tennessee) have published two books together as well. Both volumes are packed with entertaining articles, thoughtful patterns, and plenty of charm. Most recently they've jumped on the coloring bandwagon and put out a book of designs for knitters.
